Writing content

How to write source text and listing copy that converts travellers.

SoulTales generates multilingual listing content from your source information. Good source text produces better descriptions in every language.

Write factual, vivid details about your experience:

  • What happens during the visit
  • What makes it authentic or unique
  • Practical details (duration, accessibility, what to bring)
  • Location and atmosphere
  • Write in clear, complete sentences
  • Focus on the guest experience
  • Mention seasonal highlights or what is included
  • Stay within 9,000 characters
  • Prices or payment details
  • Phone numbers, email addresses, or social handles
  • External booking URLs
  • Marketing slogans without substance

After you save source text, use Generate with AI on the Information tab to create name, intro, and body for all locales. Review each language — you can edit generated text before saving.

For prices and vouchers, write English first and use Translate from English on the form to draft the other five languages from your English name and info fields.

PartGuidance
IntroShort hook — aim for 50 words or fewer
BodyDetailed description — roughly 240–500 words

Every locale needs a name (at least 2 characters) and combined intro + body of at least 40 characters before publication.

SoulTales listings feel curated and authentic, not salesy. Write as if recommending the experience to a friend — warm, specific, and honest.
